KL2500 halogen unit but with the obvious
advantages of a high intensity LED engine;
no bulb changing, ripple free DC
illumination, low energy consumption and
daylight balanced output of 1000 lumens.
With its new design and unique performance
spectrum, the KL2500 LCD is setting a new
benchmark in the field of halogen cold light
sources. Fitted with a 250 watt cold light
reflector lamp, the KL2500 outputs twice the
light of the KL1500 LCD.
The Schott KL1600 white LED light source
offers continuous dimming, silent fan cooling
and a two position filter slider. Daylight
balanced 6000K at 650 lumens. Compatible with
all KL1500 lightguides and accessories.

illumination (20 kHz), almost 100 CRI
halogen spectrum and continuous dimming from
0 to 100%.

microscopy. The free working distance may be
optimised using focusing lenses giving a
range from 20 to 90 mm for brightfield and 5
to 20 mm for darkfield.
